Dance is almost here...Masque giveaway in progress...

I cannot believe it. It's just weeks until Dance of the Red Death is released, and the Masque Saga will be complete. Deep breath.

To celebrate my upcoming book release, I'm going to give away a copy of Masque every week for the next 5 sundays!

Everyone who enters will get a Dance of the Red Death bookmark, and I can send signed bookplates with the bookmarks, as well, if you want them.

Here's what you need to do-- in the comments section of this blog post, tell me why you or someone close to you needs a copy of Masque of the Red Death.

I've even given you a list of suggestions.

1. a friend or loved one who has not read Masque yet--convince me that  they need this copy to make their life complete.
2. A library, classroom, or student who needs a copy of Masque
3. The reason YOU don't yet own Masque, if entering for yourself.

Please put your email in the comments, that way I can contact you for your address!

If you just want bookmarks, you can contact me through the blog, or you can email me at info@bethanygriffin.com with your address, bookmarks needed, and whether you need any signed bookplates.

I need a copy of a "Masque of the Red Death" is because I do not own a copy of it myself. To own a copy would mean that I could re-read a million times and never get tired of it. Plus, I could loan it to a friend who hasn't read it, but will fall in love with it.

I haven't been able to buy some books for my enjoyment in a while since I am always having to spend my money on books for school, so I would be eternally grateful if I was to win a copy of Masque of the Red Death! I enjoy re-reading books often and I think they offer some of the best joys in life so I can't wait to experience the joys winning this book would bring me.

I am a librarian at a small middle and high school library. I discovered Masque of the Red Death in December, after I'd already spent my entire budget for the year. When I read it, I loved it, and I knew my students would, too.

I currently have 3 different students splitting my Kindle and reading the novel as a group, because I'm unable to purchase the book and I really think they'd enjoy it. It's on my wish list for next school year, but the sooner I can get it in, the sooner the students can start enjoying it.

I would love to have a physical copy to lend out to students, so that they could finish the title faster, and I could circulate it to more students.

If I don't win, I'd love a bookmark and a bookplate to hang on my office wall, the students and I have a small collage of different unique author/book bookmarks and book plates. Thank you so much for your work!

I am a teenager, unemployed, dependent on my parents... who don't understand the value of literature. I NEEEEED a copy of Masque of the Red Death!!! This is because I own no books to my name and am a library borrower. I read your book and LOVED it! I would like you to do the honor of giving me a book so it can be the first in my collection.

I was recommended this book from a friend who liked it. At the time I couldn't afford to buy it so I checked it out at the library and she was right I liked it as well. I would love a copy for my home library and can't wait for Dance of the Red Death. I would also love to have a bookmark and a couple of book plates. Thank you so much for your books, the giveaway, and the bookmarks and book plates.

I am so excited for this book!! I have loved Poe ever since I learned about him in 8th grade English, which somehow is now almost 20 years ago! When I first heard about Masque of the Red Death I was so happy! Another Poe fan writing a story on his awesome poem! So I got my library to purchase a copy because when you're husband is starting a business and you're home with all the kiddos, there isn't that extra money to buy even this most fantastic book! And the library is already purchasing the 2nd book too, per my request! But I would LOVE to have my own copy! Both books, as well as Glitter and Doom, are so beautiful! They are the most beautiful covers I've ever seen and I want to display them in my home so everyone can see them and then read them! But if everyone borrows them to read then I won't have them beautifying my home....hmmmm....maybe I'll need multiple copies eventually! Thanks for the great reads and covers! email: shandraska (at)aol(dot)com

I have a friend who considers reading for fun to be atrocious. I have been trying to make her see the light for quite some time now! She is interested in the whole gothic/Poe scene, so I think this would be absolutely perfect for her!

I looooved Masque of the Red Death, so I would absolutely love some bookmarks and a signed bookplate :)

Thanks a bunch for the giveaway!

I'm jumping up and down with my hand in the air, saying Pick Me, Pick me. I am a high school social studies teacher, book blogger and your book is now on my book reading radar. I must have been busy grading papers for this to miss my TBR list. I run the teen book group at my school as well have a shelf in my room that kids can borrow off of. Would love to read over the summer and add to my class shelf in the fall.

forgot to mention this part: I want a copy because it's one of the best books I've ever read and would love a physical copy to open and read anytime I want. Also, it'd be easier to share it that way.

I know I'm a late comer to this, but still I love these books I have and e-copy of them all. I have 3 nieces middle and high school age they live in a home where reading for fun is not something that happens I had my niece read red death after studying Poe in school and she loved it. Can you believe our rinky dink library doesn't carry ANY Masque books? I think the girls would be excited to have a copy from the author with bookmark & bookplate. If they had a physical copy they could share with each other and friends. Even so I'm hoping to get them copies for Christmas. Maybe putting a touch of YA into something classical they already have to study will make them more interested in reading in general. Thank you for this classical/YA twist I would love to see more stories out there like this!
